"Ke-Xun Ge is an expert in the field of reed-making. The quantity and quality of the reeds he produces, is very high and can be suitable for all levels of players from beginner to professional. Although I make all my own reeds, I envy some of my fellow professionals who achieve superb results in their orchestral and solo careers entirely on reeds supplied by Ke-Xun Ge. His short-scrape reeds, around 10mm, are extremely responsive in the lower register, flexible, not stiff in any way, and produce a good round tone. My recommendation to players of all standards is to sample some of these reeds. Though they will not suit everyone, they are by far the best of any "reeds for sale" that I have tried. If they do suit you, the arduous business of preparing reeds will be made immeasurably easier."
