Keflon Staple Measurements
The chimney side of the inner tube diameter measures 2.3mm when it’s round (before it becomes oval)
The bottom side of the staple inner tube measures:
G1/4.5-4.55mm
G2/4.75-4.8mm
G3/4.65-4.7mm
As every oboe aperture size is slightly different, we suggest you buy the thickness adjusting tape when you purchase a Keflon staple.
In order to get the best vibration results through the oboe you got to make sure that Keflon area goes in to the aperture has to be fully touched from bottom to the middle and top.
